Pałac w Korczewie

     Pałac w Korczewie, sięgający swymi dziejami XV wieku, od 1712 roku należał do rodziny Kuczyńskich. W 1834 roku Joanna z Wulfersów i Aleksander Kuczyński zlecili architektowi Franciszkowi Jaszczołdowi wzniesienie klasycystycznej rezydencji w miejscu dawnego dworu. Charakterystyczny budynek z czterospadowym dachem, ryzalitem z pilastrami i trójkątnym frontonem stał się imponującą siedzibą rodu.

     Na początku XX wieku Wanda z Krafftów i Krystyn Ostrowscy zlecili Stanisławowi Nowakowskiemu modernizację pałacu, nadając mu styl nawiązujący do polskiej tradycji dworskiej końca XVIII wieku. Wprowadzono kolumnowy portyk i herb Ostrowskich, Rawicz, w tympanonie. Zmieniono także proporcje okien i gzymsów.

     Korczewska rezydencja jest częścią większego założenia, obejmującego również dwie oficyny, romantyczną kaplicę-oranżerię, studnię w formie neogotyckiej kapliczki oraz pawilon ogrodowy. Dziś pałac, odzyskany przez spadkobierców, otwarty jest dla zwiedzających, oferując ekspozycję muzealną.
