   Głaz narzutowy upamiętniający wysadzenie zapory minowej i przerwanie półwyspu w 1939 roku na trasie Chałupy - Kuźnica to historyczny pomnik, który przypomina o wydarzeniach z czasów II wojny światowej. 

 

   W 1939 roku, na początku wojny, niemieckie jednostki wojskowe wysadziły część półwyspu helskiego, aby uzyskać kontrolę nad zachodnią częścią Zatoki Gdańskiej. Ta operacja, która miała na celu zabezpieczenie dostępu do portów morskich, miała wpływ na losy regionu i działań wojennych na półwyspie Helskim.
